Manufacturing processes
In manufacturing processes, we focus on understanding how production actually works in day-to-day operations. We look at material flow, dependencies between workplaces, capacity utilisation, downtime, recurring issues, losses and bottlenecks that may reduce production efficiency or increase costs.
Our goal is not to prepare only a general recommendation, but to identify specific points where the process loses time, capacity, quality or financial resources. For this reason, our analysis combines direct observation in production, discussions with employees and managers, process mapping and, where possible, analysis of available data.
As a smaller specialised company, we are able to focus more deeply on the specific issue and pay attention to details that are often missed in a quick or overly general analysis.
If required, we have developed our own software for online monitoring of production efficiency, production line equipment, and the evaluation of error types on individual machines.
What we focus on in manufacturing
In manufacturing process analysis, we can focus in particular on:
- downtime and its root causes,
- losses within the production process,
- material flow between workplaces,
- utilisation of production capacity,
- recurring failures or problematic equipment,
- scrap rates and quality issues,
- unnecessary waiting times between process steps,
- unclear responsibilities or handovers between workplaces,
- the difference between planned and actual performance,
- areas where additional costs or unnecessary work are created.
The scope of the analysis is always adapted to the client’s specific situation. In some cases, it makes sense to review the entire production flow; in others, it is more effective to focus on a selected line, workplace, product type, problematic equipment or a specific part of the process.
Analysis of available production data
Available data can also be an important input for the analysis. This may include data from production systems, internal reports, downtime records, failure logs, complaints, quality reports, production planning or simple internal spreadsheets.
We do not analyse data for its own sake. We treat it as one of the inputs that helps us understand the process more accurately. It helps verify where a problem occurs repeatedly, how significant it is, how often it appears and what impact it may have on performance, quality or costs.
The output may include an analytical overview with clear conclusions, identified problem areas and recommendations on what should be addressed first.
Our approach is practical and adapted to the scope of the issue. First, we review the client’s expectations, available information and the area that should be analysed. We then focus on how the process actually works in the production environment.
Depending on the situation, we use:
- direct observation at production workplaces,
- discussions with employees, team leaders and managers,
- process mapping,
- analysis of available data,
- identification of bottlenecks, losses and recurring issues,
- preparation of practical improvement measures.
The result is a clear output that helps management decide which problems have the greatest impact and which steps make the most sense.

The output of the analysis is prepared in a form that can be practically used for further decision-making. Depending on the scope of cooperation, it may include for example:
- a description of the current process state,
- identified bottlenecks and problem areas,
- an overview of key losses or sources of inefficiency,
- evaluation of available data,
- proposed improvement measures,
- recommended priorities,
- inputs for internal discussion, process change or a follow-up project.
Our objective is that, after the analysis, the client has a clearer understanding of where the process loses performance or creates unnecessary costs, and has a practical basis for deciding what to address next.

Where relevant, we can also work with digital tools for monitoring production efficiency, equipment performance, downtime or types of errors. However, technology is not the objective in itself. It is only a tool that helps us better understand the process, identify problem areas and prepare concrete recommendations for improvement.
